Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

On Oct. 2 at 8:30 p.m., after an investigation by Lynbrook detectives, a 45-year-old East Meadow man was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

At 2:47 p.m. on Oct. 4, a 20-year-old resident of Glen Oaks, Queens, was arrested and charged with, criminal possession of a controlled substance, an open Nassau County warrant and various other vehicle and traffic law violations on Merrick Road.

A 28-year-old man from Jamaica, Queens was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and moving from a lane unsafely on Merrick Road on Oct. 5 at 3:10 a.m.

On Oct. 6 at 5:44 p.m., a 25-year-old Hempstead man was arrested and charged with, aggravated unlicensed operator and improper left turn on Merrick Road.

At 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 7, a 45-year-old Lynbrook woman was arrested and charged with criminal contempt on Lyon Place.

A 43-year-old man from Utica was arrested and charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation and various other vehicle and traffic law violations on Sunrise Highway on Oct. 10 at 12:30 p.m.

On Oct. 16 at noon, after an investigation by Lynbrook detectives, an 18-year-old Bay Shore woman was arrested and charged with possession of a forged instrument, two counts of identity theft, petit larceny and unlawful possession of identification.
