Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

A 26-year-old from South Ozone Park, Queens, was arrested on May 29 at 9:14 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and criminal possession of hypodermic needles on the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road platform.

On May 30 at 7:52 p.m., a 42-year-old Baldwin man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, lane violation, false personation, improper right turn and driving on the shoulder on Scranton Avenue.

A 28-year-old Valley Stream man was arrested and charged with an open warrant at Lynbrook Police Headquarters on May 31 at 10:45 a.m.

On May 31 at 11:50 a.m., a 28-year-old Elmont man was arrested and charged with an open warrant at Lynbrook Police Headquarters.

A 47-year-old Valley Stream man was arrested on May 31 at 6:30 p.m. and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and safety belt violation on Sunrise Highway.

A 27-year-old Lynbrook man was arrested on May 31 at 8:27 p.m. and charged with theft of services at Lynbrook Police Headquarters.

On June 1 at 8:12 a.m., a 27-year-old Uniondale man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle and no insurance on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 49-year-old Valley Stream resident was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and improper plate display on Peninsula Boulevard on June 1 at 10:35 a.m.

A 48-year-old from Lynbrook was arrested on June 2 at 8:15 p.m. and charged with criminal contempt on Lakeview Avenue.

A 33-year-old from Hempstead was arrested on June 4 at 11:56 a.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, no inspection and various equipment violations on Hempstead Avenue.
