Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Arrests

On June 6 at 2:31 a.m., a 25-year-old Queens man was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operator, leaving the scene of an accident and unlicensed operator on Jarvis Place.

At 11:40 p.m. on June 5, a 26-year-old man from Freeport was arrested and charged with robbery for an incident which occurred in front of 603 Sunrise Highway.

A 41-year-old Lynbrook man was arrested on June 6 at 9:15 p.m. and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operator, operating with a restricted license, unlicensed operator, stop sign violation and operating without insurance on Merrick Road.

On June 7 at 7:45 p.m., 34-year-old Freeport resident was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment.

At 11:20 p.m. on June 7, a 24-year-old Bronx man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, possession of stolen property, unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle and no inspection on Sunrise Highway.

On June 9 at 5:35 p.m., a 23-year-old man from Lynbrook was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and a traffic device violation on Broadway.

An 18-year-old man who resides in Lynbrook was arrested and charged with criminal mischief on Griffin Place on June 9 at 6:32 p.m.

At 1:15 p.m. on June 11, a 43-year-old North Bellmore man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, no inspection, and glass tint violations on Atlantic Avenue.

On June 12 at 9:15 a.m., a 29-year-old Mastic Beach woman was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine and heroin), aggravated unlicensed operator, littering and failing to yield right of way on Sunrise Highway.
