East Rockaway to celebrate 50th annual Huckleberry Frolic in June

The East Rockaway Grist Mill Museum Committee and village officials have announced the details for the 50th annual Huckleberry Frolic.
The festivities will begin with an outdoor concert by Permission to Launch on June 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. There will also be food trucks lined up from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Frolic will begin on June 8 at 10 a.m., with the traditional parade leading to Memorial Park. The event will offer a variety of entertainment, food trucks, vendors, rides, homemade games, free children’s crafts, a baby parade for infants through 6-year-olds, a pet photo contest, free photo booths, a petting zoo and more. There will also be a concert from the Lamar Peters Rock and Roll Review concert. Attendees are asked to bring chairs to sit in for the concerts.
