Arrests

A Far Rockaway, Queens man was arrested on Nov. 22 at 3:07 p.m. and charged with two open Nassau County court warrants for aggravated unlicensed operation on Merrick Road.

An Allentown, Pa. woman was arrested on Nov. 25 at 7:18 p.m. and was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and assault on Columbus Drive.

An East Rockaway man was arrested on Nov. 26 at 9:09 a.m. and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and failure to signal a lane change on Ocean Avenue.

A Far Rockaway, Queens woman was arrested on Nov. 26 at 3:58 p.m. and was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and insufficient stop lamps on Peninsula Boulevard.

A Freeport man was arrested on Nov. 27 at 7:48 p.m. and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation on Merrick Road.

Thefts

A victim reports that an unknown suspect entered the residence and stole jewelry from the bedroom on Nov. 23 at 8:15 a.m.

Forgery

A victim reported on Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. selling a bicycle on Craigslist and was contacted via email from a person stating they wanted to purchase the bicycle. The person sent the victim a check for the purchase price plus additional shipping costs. The victim was then informed that the check was forged.
