Troop 294 to participate in St. Baldrick’s fundraiser

Elmont’s Boy Scout Troop 294 will is holding a fundraiser throughout February for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation — a volunteer-driven charity that funds more childhood cancer research grants than any volunteer organization, after the U. S. government. In celebration of the fundraiser, on March 11, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Troop 294 leaders and Scouts will be shaving their heads at Lily Flanagans, located at 528 Main St. in Islip. more
