The Elmont Fire Department looks back at a busy and successful year under Chief Angelo Chilelli. Chilelli, who has served the customary one-year term as Chief and will be replaced on May 1 by current First Assistant Chief Domenic Francavilla, led the Department through fires and emergencies resulting from super storm Sandy. By the numbers, the Department had:
