Troop 1025 Franklin Square, has just completed a service project for Project Linus. Project Linus collects new blankets for local sick and needy children.

The troop learned to sew on machines and completed some adorable blankets to be donated. The troop is focusing on life skills this year and sewing is just one of those skills. They worked very hard and should be very proud of a job well done.

The troop is comprised of girls from Carey and Washington Street schools. They meet at the Franklin Square VFW and Washington Street School. Troop leaders are Carolyn Fernandez, Kaitlyn Gioia, Vicki Gioia, Angela Gunn, and Connie Puvogel.
