Police: Elmont robbery suspects remain at large

According to the 4th Squad, a 19-year-old man was robbed on April 2 in Elmont by two men — one of whom inserted “a sharp object” in his side.

Police said that at 9:30 p.m., the teen was walking southbound on Elzey Avenue, in the vicinity of Blackstone Street, and was passed by two black men walking northbound. Soon after, one of the men approached the victim and proceeded to put a “sharp object” in his side and demand anything of value. The victim complied, giving the men his PlayStation Portable. The two men fled the scene on foot northbound on Elzey Avenue toward Hempstead Turnpike. The victim had no reported injuries.
