Police searching for man who ransacked Franklin Square bagel shop

Nassau County police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in who allegedly vandalized a bagel store in Franklin Square and stole over $1,000 in cash.

According to police, the man broke into Bagel on the Square on Franklin Avenue at 1:54 a.m. on Aug. 16 and ransacked the store, causing damage and stole approximately $1,300. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. He is described as black, in his late 20s to early 30s, with a medium build and a mustache.
