This Friday, Nov. 6, the Fright Yard of Atlantic Beach will be back by popular demand. During the night, when you think you're safe, many characters from famous horror movies including Freddy, Jason and Leatherface come out of captivity on a murder spree, and you're the victim. The yard includes life-size monster mannequins and at least a dozen actors who chase unsuspecting visitors. There are five different themes in the yard, including an operating room and a horror chamber complete with strobe lights, scary music and fog lights. The Fright Yard is located at 1582 Park Street in Atlantic Beach off Vernon Avenue. It will open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 10:30 that night. A visit to the Fright Yard is free, but Isola said a donation of a non-perishable food item would be greatly appreciated. He added that all donations will be given to a local food pantry for needy families. For more information about the Fright Yard, visit www.frightyard.webs.com
