Though the Lawrence High School DECA Club did not get started until two months ago, that didn’t hinder the students as all four who competed in the virtual State Career Conference March 3 to 5 placed in the top 10 of the exam portion and advanced to the international level. more

For DECA Club, it’s all business
Lawrence High School sophomore Malakih Durrant envisions a successful future. Durrant said he wants to own a restaurant, a gym or a real estate firm, and to become an attorney. He believes that being a DECA Club member will help him attain his dreams. more

For the 12th consecutive year Lawrence High School students will compete on the international level of DECA as sophomores Massimo Cancelliere and Harrison Kim placed sixth overall with their Fashion Merchandising Promotion Plan at the state career conference in Rochester March 8-10. Cancelliere and Kim will compete in Anaheim, Ca. in late April. more
