Supposedly named for the number of cedar trees in the area, the Village of Cedarhurst will have PSEG-Long Island crews trimming branches and leaves that have grown too close to power line starting the week of Aug. 12. This is to help avert power, telephone and internet outages, and reduce severe fire and other safety concerns.
