Leeya Azemoun, Ibrahim Rasheed, Brian Chen and Ethan Abeler captured the CP Nassau seventh/eighth grade 2019 Trivia Challenge championship hosted by the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County Feb. 25 to 28. Fellow Woodmere Middle School students Ayesha Taj, David Abeleu, David Kushnirsky and Rachel Chen competed in the finals of fifth/sixth grade level. Students in grades three to 12 from across Nassau County took part in the Trivia Challenge event and raised money for CP Nassau. Now in its 33rd year, the Trivia Challenge event helps raise money to benefit the programs and services CP Nassau provides for more than 1,500 children and adults with CP and other developmental disabilities.   more
