A swastika and the letters ACAB K.t.P were spray painted on the white fence of a home at the intersection of Centre Street and Oak Avenue in Cedarhurst between midnight and 8 a.m. on April 15, according to police.

The police, who are investigating the act of criminal mischief as a bias incident, said they do not know what the letters possibly stand for or mean.

Fourth Squad detectives are asking anyone with information about this to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-8477. All calls are kept confidential.

On Feb. 6, police arrested Jonathan Schuster, 18, of Far Rockaway, a senior at Priority-1: Torah Academy of Lawrence-Cedarhurst for at least eight incidents of anti-Semitic graffiti at Long Island Rail Road stations in the Five Towns dating to December 2012. In all, a dozen similar acts have been documented by police through the same time period. No arrests have been made since.
