More than 300 people attended the Fourth of July beach party sponsored by the Atlantic Beach Estates Civic Association on July 5 that commemorated the nation’s 238th birthday.
Among the attendees were Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and newly elected mayor of the Village of Atlantic Beach, George Pappas, who presided over his first village meeting on Monday after being sworn into office.
