Chase Bank in Cedarhurst robbed

A man, described as being either white or Hispanic, walked into the Chase Bank at 446 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst on Monday at 5 p.m. and handed a teller a note and demanded money, police said.

After getting an unspecified amount of money, the man left the bank and was last seen headed east on Central Avenue. A half dozen employees and three customers were present during the robbery. No one was injured.

The man is described as being between 5-3 and 5-5 with a thin build and about 40- to 45-years sold. He was wearing a green hoodie sweatshirt and a green jacket.
