Overcast Fire at Inwood Park

Inwood and Lawrence-Cedarhurst firefighters extinguished a fire at the administration building in Inwood Park Tuesday.

Firefighters from the Inwood and Lawrence-Cedarhurst fire departments under the command of Inwood Chief Frank Parise responded to a fire at Inwood Park on Bayview Avenue in Inwood Tuesday at 5:30 a.m., where the administration building was ablaze.
The cause of the fire is being investigation by the Nassau County Fire Marshal.
No injuries were reported. An emergency medical crew from the Woodmere Fire Department also responded to the fire at the county park.
