Man assaulted and robbed in Lawrence
Three teenagers, all 16-17-years old, black and wearing hoodie sweatshirts allegedly attacked and robbed a man, 35, who was walking to work on Mott Avenue near John Street in Lawrence at 6:30 a.m. on July 13, police said.
The three young mean apparently grabbed the man, threw him to the ground and kicked him in the head, according to police. Then one of the teens took some items from the man, including an unspecified amount of money. They fled on bicycles and headed north on Bernard Street. The man suffered minor cuts, but declined medical attention.

Arrests
CEDARHURST-Ollie F. Missouri, 43, of Hempstead, was arrested for shoplifting from a pharmacy story on Washington Avenue at 4 p.m. on July 9, police said.
NORTH NEW HYDE PARK-Nicole Mohammed, 30, of Inwood, was arrested for shoplifting from a department store on Union Turnpike at 12:50 p.m. on July 9, according to police.

Larceny from auto
HEWLETT-A man reported that property was taken from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at 1 Veterans Memorial Plaza between 8:30 p.m. on July 2 and 7 a.m. on July 3, authorities said.
WOODMERE-Between 9:30 p.m. on July 5 and 5:45 a.m. on July 6, a woman said that property was removed from her unlocked vehicle on Felter Avenue, officials said.
WOODMERE-On July 6 between 12:30 and 10 a.m. a woman said that assorted items were stolen from her vehicle that was parked on East Broadway, according to police.
HEWLETT NECK-A man reported that property was taken from his unlocked vehicle on Hewlett Neck Road between 9 p.m. on July 5 and 10 a.m. on July 6, police said.

Petit larceny
LAWRENCE-On Central Avenue at 10:30 a.m. on July 8, a package was removed without permission, authorities said.

Criminal mischief to auto
CEDARHURST-The driver-side window of a vehicle parked at the intersection of Cedarhurst and Fifth avenues was damaged between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. on July 7, officials said.
WOODSBURGH-Between 8 p.m. on July 7 and 10 a.m. on July 8, the passenger-side window of a vehicle parked on Ivy Hill Road was damaged, according to police.
