EAST GARDEN CITY-Brandon Garrett, 19, of North Woodmere, was arrested for shoplifting at a department store on Old Country Road 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, authorities said.

Larceny from auto

CEDARHURST-On Oct. 18, between 12:01 and 5:30 a.m. near Court and Clinton avenues, property was stolen from a man’s parked vehicle, officials said.

CEDARHURST-A man reported that a GPS was taken from his parked vehicle on Court Avenue between 12:01 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 18, according to police.

WOODMERE-Police said a woman reported that assorted items were removed from her vehicle on Linden Street between 2 and 7 p.m. on Oct. 15.

Petit larceny

LAWRENCE-Between noon and 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 15, a woman’s mailbox was stolen on Causeway, authorities said.

Criminal mischief

INWOOD-A man reported that his parked vehicle on Bayswater Boulevard was damaged on Oct. 18 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., officials said.

NORTH WOODMERE-Police said that a woman reported that her vehicle parked on Park Lane was damaged between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, according to police.
