Arrests

    LAWRENCE-On April 17 at 2:45 p.m. at a department store on Rockaway Turnpike, Vincent Campos, 27, of Cedarhurst, was arrested for shoplifting, authorities said.

    HEWLETT-At 4:19 p.m. on April 20 at a drugstore on Broadway, Thomas McCurry, 23, of Valley Stream, was arrested for shoplifting, officials said.

    WOODMERE-On April 23 at 12:45 a.m. near Broadway and Franklin Place, Russell S. Brown, 31, of Hempstead, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to police. 

Larceny from auto

    INWOOD-Between April 14 at 6:30 p.m. and April 15 at 7 a.m. on West End Avenue, a woman’s wallet was stolen from her husband’s car, police said. 

    WOODMERE-Between 9 p.m. on April 15 and 8 a.m. on April 16 on Cambridge Road, an unspecified amount of coins were stolen from a woman’s car, authorities said. 

    NORTH WOODMERE-On Janet Place between 5 p.m. on April 15 and 10 a.m. on April 16, an assortment of power tools were stolen from a man’s car, officials said. 

    LAWRENCE-At noon on April 18 at a department store on Rockaway Turnpike, a computer scanner, sunglasses and Nike Airmax sneakers were stolen from a man’s car, according to police.

    INWOOD-Between 4 p.m. on April 17 and 3:40 a.m. on April 18 on Zavatt Street, a man’s backpack and MTA identification were stolen from his car, police said. 

    INWOOD-On Redwood Avenue between April 19 at 9:30 p.m. and April 20 at 5:30 a.m., an iPod and money were stolen from two of a man’s cars, authorities said. 

    INWOOD-Between 6 p.m. on April 17 and 8 a.m. on April 18 on Clinton Avenue, a diaper bag was removed from a woman’s car, officials said. 

Petit larceny

    LAWRENCE-On April 18 at 7 p.m. on Rockaway Turnpike, a woman’s cellphone was stolen from a counter, according to police.  

Criminal mischief

    CEDARHURST-Between April 15 at 1 p.m. and April 16 at 4:15 p.m. on Washington Avenue, the driver’s side mirror was damaged on a woman’s car, authorities said. 

Criminal mischief to auto

    LAWRENCE-On Rockaway Turnpike on April 16 at 5:09 p.m., a group of young people threw a rock through the rear windshield of a car, officials said. 

    HEWLETT-At 6 p.m. on April 19 on New Street, the front hood of a woman’s car was scratched, according to police.
