Arrests
NORTH WOODMERE-On June 6 at 5:40 p.m. at a department store on Rockaway Turnpike, Ralph Pierre, 18, of Inwood, was arrested for shoplifting, authorities said.
GARDEN CITY-At 10:05 p.m. on June 23 near Davis Avenue and West Road, Luis A. Rodriguez, 22, of Woodmere, was arrested for possession of marijuana, officials said.

Larceny from auto

INWOOD-On Zavatt Street between 5 p.m. on June 16 and 7 a.m. on June 17, a backpack containing wire cutters, a wire stripper, wire toner and an installation meter were stolen from a man’s car, according to police.
INWOOD-Between 10 p.m. on June 17 and 6 a.m. on June 18 on Church Street, someone rummaged through a man’s car, police said.
HEWLETT-Between June 23 at 2:30 p.m. and June 24 at 2:35 p.m. on Broadway, a woman’s wallet was stolen from her car, authorities said.
Petit larceny
INWOOD-On Pearsall Place at 8 a.m. on June 12, a weed wacker was stolen from a man’s trailer, officials said.
