Arrests
LAWRENCE-Barbara B. Salinas, 45, of Norwalk, Conn., was arrested for shoplifting from a store on Rockaway Turnpike, authorities said.
HEWLETT-Christopher Ryan, 49, of Howard Beach, Queens, was arrested for removing a Peaks Road Master mountain bicycle with bolt cutters at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Station Plaza at 3:53 p.m. on Aug. 7.

Larceny from auto

WOODMERE-An unspecified amount of money and a pair of headphones were taken from a vehicle parked on Midwood Road between Aug. 5 at 10 p.m. and Aug. 6 at 7:45 a.m., according to police.
HEWLETT-A man reported the theft of a North Face jacket and his wallet from his vehicle parked on Broadway between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 11, police said.

Petit larceny
INWOOD-A 25-ounce bottle of Absolut vodka was stolen from a liquor store on Burnside Avenue at 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 8, officials said.
WOODMERE- A cell phone was stolen from a customer of a pharmacy store on Broadway between 3:45 and 4 p.m. on Aug. 9, according to police.

Criminal mischief
CEDARHURST- A homeowner reported that two 12-to-13-year-olds threw a rock and damaged the front door of a house on Peninsula Boulevard at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 7, police said.
