Five Towns village election results

All trustees ran unopposed

A half dozen Five Towns villages held elections on Tuesday. All candidates were unopposed and all terms are two years.

Lawrence

Incumbents Alex Edelman, 136 votes, and Michael Fragin, 132 votes, were re-elected. There were no write-in votes.

Atlantic Beach

Sitting Trustees Danae A. Muddiman, 83 votes, and Andrew J. Rubin, 77 votes, continue their service to the village. No write-in ballots were cast.

Hewlett Harbor

Trustee Len Oppenheimer, 77 votes who serves as the deputy mayor, and first-time candidate Jonathan Polakoff, 90 votes, won the board votes. There was one write-in vote.

Hewlett Bay Park

Trustees Alex Salomon and Jay Levy both garnered 14 votes.

Hewlett Neck

Board members Dr. Michael Levine and Aron Schnell collected 20 votes each, and Brett Cooper got 19. Schnell appointed after Bert Kalisher stepped down gained the second year of the term.

Woodsburgh

Mayor Lee Israel, 38 votes, and incumbent Trustees Gary Goffner and Jacob Harman, 36 and 34 votes respectively retained their seats.
