The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of an Inwood man and a juvenile for a robbery that occurred on Aug. 28, at 2:24 a.m. in Inwood.

According to detectives, a 39-year-old man was walking on Solomon Avenue near Doughty Boulevard when three men approached him. The 15-year-old juvenile male demanded the victim’s phone and then punched him. As the victim fell to the ground, Michael J. Pedlar, 17, of Bayview Ave., Inwood, reached into the man’s pocket and removed his wallet containing an unknown amount of cash and handed it to a third male not yet arrested. The three fled on foot with the cell phone and cash towards Donohue Avenue.

A short time later, Fourth Precinct officers and New York City Police located Pedlar and the juvenile on Beach Channel Drive, Far Rockaway. They were placed under arrest without incident. Both defendants have been charged with robbery of the second degree and were arraigned later that day at the First District Court in Hempstead.

Investigation is ongoing, police said.
