Homecoming at Lawrence Woodmere Academy included two soccer games, rides and games, class booths, a variety of food and an alumni reunion on Oct. 18.
The boys soccer team beat Portledge, but the girls dropped their game by the identical score. LWA’s dance club performed, children got their faces painted and romped through a pumpkin patch. Alumni athletes were honored during halftime of the boys game. From 5 to 7 p.m., alumni from the classes of 1964 to 2012 got together in the school’s library mezzanine for a reunion of the 102-year-old school.
