Food, friends and fanfare for PCC
Andrew Hackmack/Herald
Dylan Isaacs and Jon Rosenbaum, students at Hewlett High School, helped served cakes from Martha’s Country Bakery.

Steve Bernstein, the president of PCC’s Board of Directors, said next year the community can look forward to even more events beyond A Tasteful Evening, as the agency marks 100 years. He said those ideas are still in the works, but the public will be in for a treat.

Bernstein added that he is grateful for all the support for this year’s event because it allows the agency to continue its mission. “When we get the full community behind us, it helps,” he said. “PCC does tremendous work. They’re always there. They never turn anybody away.”
