A town hall-style meeting regarding the proposed sale and plans for the Number Six School will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Lawrence Middle School auditorium at 7 p.m.

The developer, Bronx-based Simone Development Companies, will make a presentation on its plans to convert the closed elementary school into a multi-specialty medical facility operated by Mt. Sinai Hospital. A public referendum on the planned sale is slated for March 20.

Refreshments will be served.
