Two men, one a North Woodmere resident, were arrested on Aug. 1 at about 1:35 a.m., for the alleged robbery of a teenager in Hewlett, police said.

According to police, a 15 year old boy was about to enter the In & Out convenience store at 300 Mill Road at 11:30 p.m. on July 31, when Nissan Kohen, of Fordham Lane in North Woodmere, and Keith Miles, of Carman Avenue in East Rockaway, both 19, demanded money from him.

He gave them money, but the men wanted more and allegedly Kohen pulled out a knife and the boy gave them more money. The pair then got into a white Ford and fled, police said.

Police found them in the vicinity of the East Rockaway Long Island train station. They were arrested and a folding knife was found in Miles’ pants pocket, according to police.

Both men were charged with robbery-first degree and robbery-second degree.
