Golden Tornadoes senior running back Jordan Fredericks rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries in the football team’s homecoming win.
The parade route was shorter that past homecomings, but the Lawrence High School Golden Tornadoes kept up their end of the bargain as they pasted Floral Park 50-7 and remain undefeated in Conference III at 7-0 last Saturday. Marchers stepped off from the Number Five School and proceeded to the high school. In previous years, the parade had begun on Central Avenue in Lawrence.
