Trustee candidates in Atlantic Beach, Lawrence and Hewlett Bay Park, Hewlett Neck, Hewlett Harbor and Woodsburgh are unopposed. Elections are June 16. All terms are two years.
Lawrence
Incumbents Michael Fragin and Alex Edelman are running for re-election. Fragin is seeking his fourth full term. He said his priorities for his next term include improving the morale of the village’s workforce; revising the building code; upgrading Lawrence’s financial heath and creating an environment for “more inclusive government and decision making.”
Edelman is running for his second full term.
Voting is from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Village Hall at 196 Central Ave. in Lawrence.
