Woman assaulted and robbed in Cedarhurst

Fourth Squad detectives are investigating the robbery of a 60-year-old woman at the intersection of Fifth and Leroy avenues in Cedarhurst, who was allegedly attacked by four women at 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 9.
The woman was walking from the Cedarhurst Long Island Rail Road train station when the four women struck her about the head with their fists, police said. They took the woman’s pocketbook and fled. She declined medical aid at the scene.
One of the four alleged assailants is described as black, 6-feet tall with a thin build and medium length straight hair. She was wearing a blue coat, workout-type pants and a black mask with white eyes.
Two are described as both 5-feet, 5-inches in height with heavy builds. One was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie sweatshirt and the other was wearing a hoodie sweatshirt. Another alleged attacker was wearing light colored jeans.
