Less than a month before the holiday began, the sisterhoods of several South Shore synagogues, along with two sections of the National Council of Jewish Women came together for their annual joint Seder held this year at the Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish Centre in East Rockaway on March 24.
The groups included the WRJ Sisterhood of Temple Am Echad, Sisterhood of Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish Centre, Sisterhood of Central Synagogue, the women of Congregation Beth Emeth, NCJW, Peninsula Section and NCJW, South Shore.
