Woodmere man arrested in Uniondale for drugs and guns

Three people, including residents of Woodmere and Freeport, were arrested for possession of drugs and guns after Nassau County police executed a warrant at Wall Street Gold & Silver on Front Street in Uniondale on Sept. 8.

Working on a tip about illegal drug activity, police conducted what they called an “extensive investigation” that ended with the recovery of a Smith & Wesson M&P rife, and a rifle flash suppressor/silencer.

Nelson U. Larios, 32, of North Central Avenue, Woodmere was charged with four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. Michael A. Ebinger, 30, of Guy Lombardo Avenue, Freeport, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Alexandria Hassell, 22, of Lincoln Avenue, Mineola, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released on an appearance ticket. Hassell’s next court date is Sept. 27. In addition, summons were issued for violations of Town of Hempstead ordinances for operating an illegal second hand dealer/pawn shop.
