Woodmere woman robbed in her Forest Avenue home

A Woodmere woman, 69, entered her Forest Avenue home through the garage entrance when she was grabbed from behind by a man and put in a chokehold at 2:12 p.m. on Aug. 22, according to police.
The man, who was possibly wearing a hooded shirt, demanded her jewelry and wallet, and she complied, police said, He fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
