The Village of Atlantic Beach marked its 50th anniversary as an incorporated municipality with a pair of events: An anniversary eve dinner and on the anniversary a daylong carnival. Residents also produced a retrospective that included a complete historical record of Atlantic Beach, its battle for incorporation and many photos.
