Hewlett-Woodmere and Lawrence school district budgets passed. Stephen Witt was re-elected and Melissa Gates and Jonathan Altus were elected to the H-W Board of Education. The three ran together as team. Unopposed incumbents Uri Kaufman and Abel Feldhamer retained their Lawrence board seats.

Peninsula Public Library’s budget also was approved. Incumbent Trustee Sarah Yastrab was unchallenged for the five-year term. Yastrab won election previously to complete an unexpired term.
