Lawrence-Cedarhurst American Legion Post 339 held its induction for the 2018-19 slate of officer at the Lawrence Yacht & Country Club in Lawrence on June 10.
The slate includes Post Commander Syd Mandelbaum and Adjutant Brig. Gen. (ret) Pat Alesia, Vice Commander Al Landi, Service Officer Harry Beltrani and Sergeant-At-Arms Domenic Crici. Nassau County Adjutant Al Ficalora administered the oath of office.
Post member said they are humbled to service our fellow veterans. The military veterans group coordinates a memorial service after the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Memorial Day Parade, organizes a Veterans Day ceremony, also at Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park and annually holds a fundraising dinner that honors disabled veterans.
