Folk-2-Funk Festival
The South Shore is looking ahead to spring with some vibrant tunes as the annual Annual Folk-2-Funk Festival returns to the City by the Sea. Those local favorites Gathering Time participate once again, performing music from Woodstock this year. The Guthrie Brothers channel Simon & Garfunkel, and Vienna Carroll returns with more about the African-American experience in music. Other festival highlights, include Sonny Ochs, sister of the singer-songwriter Phil Ochs (the voice of his generation), who will host a Q&A and film about her brother.

Family Fun

Kubart and his band, the Space Cadets, weave their own childhood memories through textured pop tunes with lyrics that bridge the gap between innocence and wisdom in a way for all ages to appreciate and understand.
