NeighborsMother Nature may not agree when the calendar reads spring, but residents of the Five Towns did their best to enjoy the days where they had some sun during April’s first week. Winds may have been howling from time to time on April 5, but there were plenty of children bundled up and playing at the parks. From Inwood Park to the west and Grant Park to the east, the playgrounds were alive with laughs and shouts. Many schools were out for their spring break, so there were lots of children ready to play, even though the thermometer and the wind chill were more reminiscent of the last break they took in February. –– TYLER MARKO
