Hadassah honored Cedarhurst lawyer Deborah Kaminetzky

Yashar, the attorney’s and judge’s chapter of Hadassah, will hold its 25th anniversary dinner with Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas presenting Cedarhurst lawyer Deborah Kaminetzky Hadassah’s 2019 national leadership award at the Shelter Rock Jewish Center, at 272 Shelter Rock Road in Roslyn on Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Yashar was charted on Feb. 16, 1994, by a group of Jewish woman lawyers and judges, who saw a need for networking and had a strong desire to give back to the Jewish community and Hadassah, in specifically. It was the first and, to Yashar members remains the only such Hadassah chapter. Yashar is Hebrew for justice.
