Kicking it on the sand, eating up hamburgers, hot dogs and other barbecue fare and celebrating the season past with raffle prizes comprised the eighth annual Hewlett-Lawrence Soccer Club beach party at the Sands in Atlantic Beach on June 5.
Founded in 1970, the largest youth sport organization in the Five Towns is made up of 17 travel teams and roughly 350 intramural players. The children played soccer swam and danced to music provided by a DJ. Oh, the parents had fun winning some cash prizes.
