Hewlett resident Chris McGrath is Best Lawyers ‘Lawyer of the Year’ for 2020

Hewlett resident and Inwood native Christopher McGrath was selected as 2020’s Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year.” McGrath is a partner with Garden City-based Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo P.C.

McGrath was named to the personal injury litigation-plaintiffs Best Lawyers list. He has played a major role in the recovery of several multi-million dollar verdicts, earning him “a stellar reputation as a top trial attorney,” as stated in a news release. Previously he was recognized by Best Lawyers, a peer review service, as one of the top 500 personal injury attorneys in the United States.

He is also an adjunct professor of law at Hofstra University and is a popular lecturer for continuing legal education programs for bar associations and law schools. McGrath is highly active in the legal community, serving as a past president of the Nassau County Bar Association and on several other bar committees. He began with the firm in 1983 and was made a partner six years later.
