An apparent argument between a tenant and a landlord allegedly sparked a small fire in an Inwood residence, according to Nassau County police.

Kamarion King, 24, and his landlord, a man, 51, had an argument on March 28, that allegedly lead to King using a lighter to ignite an outside security camera that was affixed to the residence. The man’s son, 14, and daughter, 12, were home at the time of the incident. They notified their father and he contacted the police. No injuries were reported.

Police found King on Bayview Avenue and he was arrested. King is charged with arson second-degree, and reckless endangerment first-degree. A temporary order of protection was issued and he was remanded. His next court appearance is April 2. King is being defended by the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County.
