Inwood resident cited for volunteerism

Wendy Giordonello, of Inwood, was one of 18 people recognized for their volunteer service to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. Giordonello received a service award for her 150 hours in November and December as a messenger delivering material throughout the facility.

Other award winners were cited for their efforts in central supply, development, employee health, endoscopy, as a greeter, health care, home care, at the information desk, mental health counseling center, a messenger, non-clinical patient rounds, patient care services, spiritual care, working in the volunteer office and wound care.
