Kiwanis donates supply-filled backpacks

Peninsula Kiwanis donated 240 backpacks filled with school supplies, toothbrushes and toothpaste. The backpacks will be distributed through the social workers at local schools in Hewlett, Lawrence and Lynbrook. This is the fifth year Peninsula Kiwanis has provided the supply-filled backpacks.
