Overcast Manhattan man charged in Woodmere burglary

Nassau County police apprehended Peter Lee, who allegedly burglarized a house on Howard Avenue in Woodmere on April 3.

A man who was seen jumping off the roof of a house on Howard Avenue in Woodmere and then running through adjacent yards was arrested at 10:02 p.m. on April 3, police said.
Called after, Peter Lee, 61, of Jane Street, Manhattan, was seen on a roof, Nassau County police responded, and after a brief foot chase they caught Lee, who allegedly broke into a Howard Avenue house through a window.
He was charged with burglary second-degree.
