Playing, eating at the Santa Marina Feast

Posted

For two days —July 13 and July 14 from 7 p.m. to midnight — the parking lot across the street from Our Lady of Good Council Church, 68 Wanser Ave., Inwood, was transformed into the Santa Marina Feast, a fundraiser for the Santa Marina Society complete with rides, games, food and musical entertainment celebrating Santa Marina Vergine, the patron saint of Filandari, Italy.

The Mass for the Feast included a performance by the Santa Marina Society Children’s Choir in the church on July 14. Donated money attached to the statue of Santa Marina benefits the Society and the church.
