Remembering the veterans on Memorial Day in Inwood

The Inwood Memorial Day Parade was on May 26, and began at noon in the parking lot of the Inwood Long Island Rail Road station. It ended at the intersection of Doughty Boulevard and Mott Avenue.

Inwood-based Leonardo da Vinci Lodge 2385 Sons of Italy member and former Inwood resident James Esopa served as the grand marshal.

Organizations and institutions representing the Inwood Fire Department, Lawrence High School, the Sons of Italy and several others marched in the holiday parade.
