Roslyn Savings Bank in Lawrence robbed

A man who allegedly passed a note to a teller at the Roslyn Savings Bank on Central Avenue in Lawrence made off with an unspecified amount of money at 11:09 a.m. on Sept. 15, police said.

There were four employees and four customers in the bank at the time of the alleged robbery, according to police. No one was injured.

Described as black, the man could be 6-feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black T-shirt, dark pants, a black hat and a surgical mask.
